Found a couple of broken points and this little one right here on the Dry Fork Little Wichita River in Clay County, TX. Found alot of mussell shells abd burned rock but not alot of flint. Not sure the what type of point this is. It might be a Fresno (1200-250) B.P.

David, Allen, Brad P. and I all went out for a backhoe dig at the D2 Ranch in Palo Pinto County. This campsite is on the south west side of a hill off of Coffe Creek. We had a good time out there. It was hot but Doyle kept the dirt on the screens all day. I found a few points but I ended up finding one of my favorite points of all time. Towards the end of the day I saw this Perdiz or Bonham point fall through the screen. I bent down to pick up one heck of an arrow point. Allan found a nice Perd. today too.

Found these two points on the Dry Fork Little Wichita River in Clay County, TX. I was doing a little digging and missed the sifter with a shovel-full of dirt. I looked on the ground and saw this little dart point on the ground where I had thrown it. The second one might be a Reed (1500-500) B.P. I think but I'm not for sure. I found it close to the first point but this one was lying on some grass.
